I am a guitarist that has started writing music the last few years. I am looking for a band to help me in the creative process and have some fun. This isn't a money making gig. We can play some covers for sure but this is more about creating music for the love of creating music. The end goal is to play local gigs at venues that only do original music. I am 50 years old and not under any illusions of making it big. Just trying to make music. Ideal candidates would be those who have experience but don't want the hassles of playing cover band gigs, ie..long hours, late nights and low pay. People that love creating music and sharing it with the world. Those who enjoy playing and don't only do it for money. The style of music varies, but steering towards americana/alt rock/southern rock styles. Looking for Bass, Keys that also plays guitar, drums. I have a rehearsal space with drums, keys, pa etc.. No druggies or weirdos. I am happy to share music with you so you can get an idea of some of the stuff I am working on and make sure I don't suck. Am I asking too much?
