CAN YOU PLEASE HELP US LIVE!! All 4 dogs will die (be put to sleep) on 10/2 Why? - Each one of these dog's is sadly struggling in their kennel, and the shelter euthanizes dogs not coping well. We ask all of you to PLEASE: 1. Share this post (this will save their lives). 2. Go to meet one of these good adoptable dogs. They don't deserve to die because a non-caring person dumped them in a shelter. Read about each dog below. Call for assistance OR go directly to the East Shelter (2630 W Rio Salado Pkwy, Mesa, AZ 85201) to save 1 of their lives. They are all good loving dogs. SCARLETT: #A4765785 I’m a 2-year-old, spayed, brown/white American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer Mix (40 lbs.). I’m very friendly, good with adults and children, jump up to sit beside people, and love to be petted. I am easy to leash, walk better when harnessed, and take treats nicely. Until I have a chance to de-stress, I would prefer to be an only dog. GODIVA: #A4768755 (Dog Friendly) I’m a 6-year-old, un-spayed, chocolate/white American Pit Bull Terrier/Chinese Shar-pei mix (58 lbs.). I came to the shelter as a homeless stray and have been wiggly and friendly from the very start. I’m calm, like attention and petting, and my tail is always wagging because I’m a happy girl. I “sit” for treats and take them gently and walk nicely on leash when a harness is used. When walked in proximity to another shelter dog, I have been well behaved. BLACKJACK: #A4773116 (Dog Friendly) I’m a 2-year-old, neutered, black/white American Pit Bull Terrier mix (46 lbs.) I’m a stray dog whose family never came to find me. I am affectionate, energetic, playful, and puppy-like. I do jump up to give “kisses” and love to be on a lap. I am good on a leash. I love being petted all over, take treats nicely, and am possibly potty trained. Barking dogs bother me, but I’m mostly just interested and curious about them. I may be best suited for a home with older children. CHICA: #A4686418 (Must be only dog) I’m a 2-year-old, spayed, tricolor Appenzeller Sennerhund (mountain dog) mix (56 lbs.) I would be great with active people! My previous owners said I was “really sweet” with people, good with the 12-year-old in the home, but should not be with other dogs. I am potty trained. At the shelter, I have been very attentive, affectionate, I lean in for pets and love belly rubs. I walk well on-leash, know “sit”, “down” and “stay”, and take treats gently. Since I'm energetic and jumpy at times, I may be best for a home with older children. I must be in a home with no dogs or small animals. PLEASE REMEMBER!! All these dogs have been living in a high-stress environment and will need time to de-stress and relax!! They will benefit from a predictable routine as well as ample exercise and time to play. Unless noted above that there is an only dog requirement, it is possible that with a SLOW INTRODCTION, any could live with another dog.
