Spray Tech Hampton Hall Golf Club, located in Bluffton, SC, is looking to hire a full time person to fill the position of Spray Technician. Experience is preferred but will train the right person. This is a great position for a young and eager individual who has a desire to grow and continue to learn in the Golf Course Industry. We are looking for someone that is self motivated and detail oriented, who also has the ability to operate equipment with standard transmissions. Responsible for mixing and applying all chemical and fertilizer applications under the guidance of the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent. This will include inventory management and the maintenance and calibration of all spray and fertilizer application equipment. Regular duties, as needed: Mowing, trimming and maintaining playing surfaces, bunker maintenance. Help repair and maintain drainage and irrigation system. Requirements: -Experience working on a golf course is preferred, but not required. Must be detail oriented, have a strong work ethic and a desire to provide championship conditions for the membership on a daily basis. -Ability to help in the daily management of the course as needed and work closely with the Superintendent and the Assistant Superintendent. -Knowledge of chemical application and calibration of equipment preferred but not required. -Ability to work every other weekend for 4 hours a day and overtime, as needed. -Ability to start early. (5:30 - 7 depending on time of year) -Ability to work holidays (usually just a few hours in the morning) -Ability to work in all kinds of weather. -Spanish speaking skills are a plus, but not required.
