Description
SB Maintenance contracts with 29 condominium associations in Chicago, the Northwest and the North shore suburbs to clean and maintain the common areas of condominium complexes. The Cleaning and Maintenance Technician (CMT) will be responsible for the cleaning and light maintenance of the common areas of condominium buildings primarily in Chicago. Some outside work is required. Willingness to travel outside the city, on occasion, would be helpful. Duties include but are not limited to: mopping, dusting, cleaning windows, vacuuming, changing light bulbs and various repairs. No experience with repairs - no problem. Training is available. We are a small company of 8 people with 2 working owners; it's a fun and close knit group. In addition to cleaning and maintenance/repairs, the CMT will interact with association board members, residents, other property vendors and property managers. Good communication skills, a positive attitude and a friendly nature are definite pluses. Schedules, work orders and mileage reimbursement are issued via various apps. A newer generation of smartphone and willingness to utilize company apps are required.
