I come from a family of cooks and food entrepreneurs. I recently started my own company, Trini Plate, which is a celebration of the multi-cultural and multi-ethnic cuisine of my home country. It's a taste of the Caribbean right here in the Pacific Northwest.
Trinbagonian food is like the universe on a plate. It's African, Asian, Latin, Hispanic, and there's even some sprinklings of Meditarranean cusine in the mix. I'm proud and happy to share a lot of the knowledge I've picked up over the years.
