Summers Baker is releasing his debut solo record this year, titled "Acclimation Songs", which was brought to life by over 200 Kickstarter backers in 2021. After nearly 10 years of establishing his unique songwriting voice across the country in the context of his Bluegrass quintet Meadow Mountain, he has expanded his musical vision to offer up a record with a single goal - to celebrate the mountains of Colorado. Born in Vail to two mountaineers, he spent his childhood wandering the high Rockies, and this upbringing is evident in his songs. He seeks to connect his experience in the mountains to a musical vision for mindfulness, gratitude, and love of the wilds.
