The Conference on Minority Transit Officials (COMTO) was founded at Howard University Washington D. C. over 50 years ago with the vision of being “The Voice of Equality in Transportation.” With all its Stupendous growth, the Organization continues to focus on its core mission, vision, and values of: Support and promote opportunities, maximize minority participation in the transit industry through training, advocacy, and professional development. Join COMTO and GDPC for the 2022 Equity Summit on Thursday, October 6. It will take place at Paul Quinn College with a welcome by President Michael Sorrell. The summit will feature two sessions: Equity in Education and Equity in Transportation. The summit will also include interactive breakout sessions and encourage vital conversations about equity in communities throughout the DFW region.
