Speaker Introduction: Doug Hagedorn is the Director of Supply Chain Management Business Operations for Ball Aerospace. He is responsible for leadership, management and performance of the Supply Chain team’s strategy, metrics, tools, compliance, learning, talent development, supplier diversity and indirect spend. Most recently, Hagedorn was Director of Supply Chain Transformation for Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) Business Unit in McKinney, Texas. He was responsible for execution of key focus area projects, process improvements and standardization. Prior to that, he led the Supply Chain Business Operations organizations for two of Raytheon’s Business Units. Throughout his 35-year career, Hagedorn has held positions of increasing responsibility with Texas Instruments Defense Systems and Electronics Group and Raytheon, including Corporate Supply Chain Technology Teams Global Sourcing Senior Management, Supply Management Teams Leadership and Major Subcontracts Management. His roles required leadership, collaboration and execution in the areas of Integrated Product Team Management, Strategic Sourcing Strategies, Supplier Management and Partnering, Leveraged Collaborative Negotiations, and Risk and Opportunity Management. Hagedorn, a Supply Chain Fellow, is passionate about people, collaboration, communication, process improvement, leadership development and mentoring, and strategy development and deployment. Hagedorn received a B.A. in materials management from Michigan State University and a MBA from the University of Dallas. He has completed his PhD coursework (ABD) in leadership studies from Dallas Baptist University. Hagedorn has served on a number of non-profit boards, volunteered extensively in the community and taught Business Management courses as an adjunct professor.
