Join architectural historian and author Dr. James Glass for a pictorial journey through Indianapolis’s residential architecture from 1820-1920. Glass’s illustrated presentation will take attendees through decades of design evolution, highlighting influential architects of the era as he explores modest vernacular structures, high-style mansions, and apartment buildings in the capital city. This presentation is based on a forthcoming book by Glass, Architecture in Indianapolis, 1820-1920. Tickets are $5/general public, and free for Indiana Landmarks members. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the program begining at 6 p.m. at Indiana Landmarks Center, which is accessible to all.
