Families are invited to support Cooper Roberts, Highland Park shooting victim who is paralyzed from the waist down, at a fundraiser. Time and Date Sunday, October 16 from 1:00-6:00 p.m. Location: Whiskey River Bar & Grill 1850 Waukegan Road in Glenview,IL Activities and Food: Admission will include.... a magic show (5:00 p.m.) face painters tie dye station music with a live DJ yes, there will be Food included! Proceeds: 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the Roberts family for Cooper’s ongoing medical needs and other expenses like home adaptations, medical equipment and assistive devices needed because of this tragedy. Admission for ages 10 and older is $20 and includes food and activities; free admission for children 9 and under. Donations: If you are not attending and still want to contribute to the cause then you can simply buy tickets to this (you can even gift tickets to someone you know) or you can donate to the Roberts Family go fund me page. Cooper was shot and his spinal cord was damaged. After undergoing many surgeries, the doctors determined that he will be paralyzed from the waist down. He is a tough cookie and is an inspiration for enduring so much on this long journey. His twin brother Luke witnessed what no child or brother or person should ever have to see.
