Breast cancer affects a quarter million Americans annually and many more globally. With the right knowledge, men and women can be empowered to detect the disease early and increase survival rates. Mujeres de Acción is a grassroots organization in San Luis Obispo County, California working to educate, empower, and lead the Latino community since 2014. We host regular events that unite the community, and we invite you to our largest event of the year. Held at St. Williams Church in Atascadero, attendees enjoy an evening of festivities that include dinner, music, and stories of survival.
