Contact/Info: 916-360-0180 FAQ: Am I too old to start a yoga practice? Our classes are gentle and tailored for all fitness levels, especially newbies and beginners. We encourage you to listen to your body and well as offer modifications as needed. Yoga is a wonderful way to nurture and care for your body through every season of life. Will the poses be difficult to do? Many are familiar with intimidating yoga poses like upside-down inversions or pretzel- twists. While more advanced students may be at this level, are classes are geared towards newbies. You'll find most poses both comfortable and maybe "slightly" challenging as you gently build strength, balance, and flexibility. How does yoga help my mind and emotions? Yoga means "union" and is a mind, body, and spirit practice. Through movement, breathwork, and stillness, yoga can help us to quiet our minds, calm the nervous system, and promotes emotional regulation. Many find more peace, contentment, and other mental health benefits with a regular yoga practice.
