DOCF is collecting donations of new duffel bags supporting foster children in Mecklenburg County. Deltas of Charlotte Foundation (DOCF) is a 501©3 organization that was established in 1991 whose main purpose was to support the programs of the Charlotte Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated through public service and scholarships. In 1994, the organization obtained nonprofit 501©3 status. As a growing organization, DOCF strategically develops and implements a solid financial base that will support our mission: strengthening the community by implementing and supporting programs that improve the quality of life for women and their families in the greater Charlotte region. Deltas of Charlotte Foundation’s primary partner continues to be the Charlotte Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated (CAC). This collaboration affords DOCF many opportunities to reach women and their families in the greater Charlotte region.
