Kicks & Cocktails is an event series that aims to celebrate the black creative community while supporting intergenerational networking to break down traditional opportunity barriers. Our mission is to support collaboration and connectivity amongst rising creative professionals, community leaders, and organizations through the transcendental love of sneaker culture. The first iteration of this event will take place on October 21, 2022 at xTribe Coworking in Inglewood, CA from 6-11PM. Kicks & Cocktails will feature an open bar, 3 curated art installations from rising black artists, multiple photo opportunities, and a VIP sneaker customization station that will be available for select guests and to the public while supplies last. The goal for this event series is to be produced in cities: Los Angeles, CA; Birmingham, AL; Atlanta, GA; New York, NY; Washington, D.C.; and Chicago, IL. With the 2022 kickoff being in Los Angeles, CA. This event is a fundraiser for a 4 week intensive Custom Sneaker Creation workshop to provide under-resourced communities with access to an immersive creative environment where youth ages 10-18 will be able to create their very own unique sneaker from scratch.
