Hi Chula Vista (and surrounding) community! I believe Yoga and the Healing Arts should be accessible to everyone regardless of socioeconomic status, gender, age, race, etc...Thus, I started offering Yoga at Mountain Hawk Park in 2020 and have been there since! These classes are open to all levels. We will explore slower movements and tune in to pranayama (life-force breathing) during and in-between flow. Join me in connecting more closely to your inner and higher self, nature, and Satsang (community). NOTE: MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY EVENING CLASSES ARE GENTLE YOGA + EXTENDED SOUND HEALING (sound bowls, & shamanic drum). All other classes are Hatha Flow with shorter sound healing. Hatha is the most traditional modern form of Raja Yoga (mind and body control). We do different breathing techniques and postures that focus on purification of the energy channels and gross body. The class is still made accessible to all! *We practice to the left of the restrooms out in the open field. Sometimes behind the restrooms if the large field is busy.
