This free class is part of the Bicycle Law Workshop Series: How Bikes Work, sponsored by Bicycle Law to help make more affordable and accessible bicycle mechanic information to all. Demonstration bikes will be used for this class to build confidence without risk. In this class you will get to know the parts of the shifting system, how to shift properly and how derailleurs work. This will give you the basic knowledge to feel prepared to understand shifting system, assess and adjust common problems. There will be time for you to ask all your questions and learn from others in the class. *Mask Required* No repairs will be done in class, please check out our Do It Together and Self Service appointments for help with repairs.
