80s HAIR METAL TRIBUTE SHOW

Long shot and starting from scratch: looking for functional musicians with the right mindset and attitude to put together a show: 80s hair metal, Sunset Strip and NWBHM-type stuff, willing and able to play the songs note for note, wear stage clothes, makeup, wig, whatever it takes to look like real rock stars, even like washed-up older ones. The idea is not to settle for merely a cover band of individuals who look like they might as well be the Domino’s Pizza delivery guy or the chip-dipping neighbor next door. Material: Mötley Crüe, Poison, Dokken, Quiet Riot, Twisted Sister, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Judas Priest, Cinderella, WASP, GNR, Van Halen, maybe Maiden with the right chops and singer, etc. I am in my 40s, sober, rational, and functional, have a day job, play guitar, bass, and keyboards (would like to play bass in the band), I can sing lead or background vocals, I’ve been in the prog rock space playing, producing, and recording original music for the last few years but I’m looking to simplify, serve the song, have fun, put on a great show, and be serious about business and making some extra dough by night around the area.
