6 (3hr) classes  •Learn all the steps in making ceramics, different shapes and styles of pottery. Unlimited practice hours. LEVEL: Beginner  Learn all the steps in making ceramics, different shapes and styles of pottery. This complete course includes 4 POTTERY WHEEL classes ( centering, throwing, trimming, glazing )+ 1 Coil Handbuilding class + 1 Slab building class. Essentially teaching all the basic techniques you need to be a beginner potter.  CLASS 1 : Centering clay on the wheel CLASS 2 : Throwing ( shapes desired ) CLASS 3 : Trimming and attaching. CLASS 4 : Coil Building CLASS 5 : Slab building Class 6 : Glazing and underglazing. At the end of the course you get to take home your own handmade bowls, plates, vases, and whatever your creative mind develops!, you will also have acquired the skills to make pottery pieces for the rest of your life!. Includes: (6) 3 hour classes + class clay + unlimited studio time ( 6 weeks)  + firing fees and studio glazes (6 weeks )+ 25 lbs of practice clay ( color of your choice ) *Class meets wednesdays from 6 to 9 pm OR Saturdays 10 am to 1pm.
