This worm farming class is meant to teach you how to set up a worm farm (stack tray flow system), care for your worms and keep them healthy in Florida climate, fight invasive pests without using chemicals and harvest worm castings (vermicast). The instructor of the class is Ana Maria Quintero, a USFSP Geographer graduate and Worm Farmer with 8 + years of experience. She has set up a worm farm for Eckerd, Great Explorations and the St. Pete Midtown Community Youth Garden, and local home owners. Join the movement and become a worm farmer! All ages welcome!
