Job Brief: We are looking for competent Concrete Polishing workers to work on different flooring projects. You will be the one to help the customers' decorative vision of their floors come to life and become smooth and solid floors. Experience in working on relevant flooring projects and using polishing equipment is essential, but not required. You must have physical strength, endurance and work well with your hands. Being good in collaboration and following instructions and where safety, efficiency, and meeting deadlines are a top priority. Duties Include, but are not limited to: • Mechanical polishing, working with grinding machines and processes • Edge grinding • Patching • Vacuuming • Communicate professionally and effectively • Ensure all materials will be stored in a neat, orderly fashion • Assess issues, develop and implement action to resolve them • Ensure all equipment is accounted for and stored in neat, orderly manner • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned • Follow construction safety practices Job Requirements: • Must have a valid driver's license • Demonstrates dependability, accountability, and initiative • Be able to work independently and in a team setting • Experience in with mechanical polishing and hand polishing • Must be available to work nights and weekends (when necessary) • Must be available to travel out of town (when necessary) Physical Demands: • Requires strenuous physical work including heavy lifting, working on hands/knees, pushing, or pulling objects and being in dusty conditions is common • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
