MANGO - Very Sweet, Large Orange Male Cat Ready for Adoption

Mango is ready for adoption! Mango is a former stray that we found outside of our apartment at the beginning of September. He has been checked over by a vet and is fully vaccinated, neutered, and FIV/FLV negative. The vet estimates that he is around 12 years old. He is a big boy, currently weighing 12.3lbs but is still a bit underweight for his size. Mango has no teeth, he had 8 left when we found him but they were removed during a dental cleaning. He currently has a shaved belly and leg from his surgery but the fur is quickly growing back. He is fully recovered from his surgery and is ready to find his forever home! Personality wise, Mango is incredibly sweet. He is not a feral cat; we believe he was owned at one point and was unfortunately left behind by his former owners. He is a little shy around new people but once he warms up to you he will purr and knead just at the sound of your voice. He loves belly rubs and if you bend down to kiss his head he will sometimes stand up on his hind legs to kiss you back. He has no issues being held and even let us trim his nails. Mango often has his tongue sticking out when he's happy. This isn't a permanent/constant blep, but it is a very cute feature. We think Mango would do well in a home with other cats. He is currently staying with our 3 other cats and has displayed no aggression towards them. He had many cat friends when he lived outside. Mango absolutely must be an indoor only cat, since he has no teeth and cannot defend himself if necessary. It is also recommended that he be on a wet food only diet, but he can and will eat hard treats, as well as hard food softened in water. We are asking for a $35 adoption fee for Mango to ensure he goes to a good home. Please let us know about your home situation so we can assess if it would be a good fit for Mango.
