Description

Did you know that Puerto Ricans celebrate Christmas season from Thanksgiving ending in mid-January? Did you know that you can find a variation of a tamale in almost all parts of the Latin culture? Do you want to impress the suegros, at the next family dinner? How about making a meal to transport you back to the island of Puerto Rico? I am a Puerto Rican who happens to be a chef, graduated in 2018, and I can teach you, not like how my mom or abuela taught me via, la chancla or spoon and your family to make Christmas time or any time treats. I will come in with recipes and the items needed, you get to eat it all at the end of the class. All I need is a kitchen, a stove/oven and a table. There will be 5 classes offered. Coquito, the old-fashioned way with real coconut. 1 hour ((Via online as well)) Appetizers (Sorullos, Tostones, empanadas) 2 hours Pernil (Roast Pork) and Arroz con Gandules class 3 hours Pasteles class is 5 hours. Desserts (Flan, Quesitos or guayabitas and tembleque) 2 hours
