This sweet angel is looking for a soft place to land... Bailey is the cutest Catahoula mix who is turning 10 this April 1st. She is good with children and other dogs but does not like cats or other small animals. She has anxiety when meeting new people but will warm up nicely after a while. She also is very attached to her owners and will have a lot of anxiety when leaving them. 😢 She has never had an accident in the house and is very good and patient when she is left alone. She loves walks and hiking but was never taught how to not pull on the leash, but she is a very smart girl and should be able to pick up new things easily. She also does very well at the dog park and has gone plenty of times, but she mostly ignores the other dogs and sniffs around. Bailey is one of the best dogs I have ever met, and I am devastated to have to make this post. We adopted her back in 2016 when she was just 4 years old from the Wenatchee humane society. She has all of her shots, and we have all of her paperwork to show for it. She was a rescue from the hurricane that was going on in Texas at the time. We believe she was raised as a hunting dog as she points and stalks her prey, she would be an amazing hunting dog and is fast even for her age. Due to a living situation her owners can no longer care for her. She will not do good in the shelter. If we cannot find a permanent home for her, we are hoping to find a foster that can help.
