Needing to rehome our 8 month old catahoula mix. She is a good dog overall. She is house trained. Basic commands - sit, lay down, back up, sit up, down, potty. Leash trained. Crate trained. Never bitten. She needs to be rehomed because she has gotten overly dominant with my toddler. She will walk into him to push him over, will walk over him, stalks and steals his food. She is well fed and only steals his food to show dominance. We brought her into our family about 6 months ago when she was about 12 weeks old. She was a stray, rescued from a trash pile. We have spent every day trying to break these habits involving my young child. Unfortunately, we don't feel we are the best fit for her. She would do great as the only dog (she behaves very well one-on-one) or possibly with a dog bigger than her. She is good with kids and other dogs, unsure of cats. She would go with her crate, blankets, bones, treats, food bowls, and some food for transitioning.
