Deceased dog. I'm sorry to report that as I was driving towards Chapel Hill this evening, I saw a deceased dog off to the right side of the road between Garrett & Southwest Durham Parkway, likely run over. It looked to be a young German Shepherd. I was unable to stop to check gender or see if there was a collar. I hated that the pup was getting rained on but it was too late to call Animal Control to have it removed. I checked Triangle Lost & Found to see if there was a lost GSD listed but none seemed to match the age. Plan to return tomorrow morning to see if pup has a collar w/tags.
