Guitarist/vocalist (38) looking to start a new band in the vein of early 00’s Chicago punk mixed some post rock. Think John Brown Battery and Lawrence Arms mixed with I Feel Fine and early Moving Mountains. Located in west suburbs and have a practice space in Humboldt Park. Looking for a bassist, drummer, and a possible second guitarist. I have a band right now that isn’t as busy as I’d prefer. I have a career and want to do more with music, but am not expecting to “make it”. Weekly practice and 6-10 shows a year to start sounds good.
