We are looking for a committed, creative and organized person that is passionate about fine European hardware for interiors and exteriors. We are looking for a Workshop Assistant/jack of all trades, we will train you no matter how much experience. Want to learn more? Qualifications: Organized with an eye for detail Some experience with brass, steel, iron and other metals Some experience with hand tools & basic shop machines Follows instruction / learns well Can communicate well in English Computer/phone skills Background in furniture making is a plus Duties: Material Handler On-site installation projects. Polish or distress various metals finishes. Preparing orders Check if material is available in stock Pull material & advise on inventory Execute appropriate finishes on the parts Shipping Pack orders and match up with appropriate paperwork Process shipping labels Receiving Verify compliance of paperwork vs. actual receipt Inspect items for potential damages Inventory control Execute as directed random cycle counts of materials in stock Organize stock room Other duties Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
