The North Arundel County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Arts and Letters and Physical and Mental Health Committees present: A Seat at the Table: A Black Woman’s Journey through Entertainment. This candid conversation explores colorism and body image as a lens for shaping black identity. Join the discussion on Monday, October 24, 2022, at the Odenton Library from 6:30 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. featuring professionally trained actress and choreographer Shawn Cosby. She is the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Centerstage Academy for the Arts. Cosby appeared on BET's Trophy Wife and House of Cards to name a few, directed the DC-CAP Performing Arts Gala at the Kennedy Center, and is the Recipient of Alvin Ailey's Award for Choreography.
