Welcome to "Comedy Shows Near Me" a weekly comedy club in the heart of Downtown Silver Spring, MD! Follow us on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter Jay Rivas Jay has been doing comedy in the DMV for years. He has opened for Tony Woods, Sylvia Traymore Morrison, TK Kirkland and more. He has received an award from Bethesda Magazine for his weekly comedy shows from 2014 to 2016 which featured Roast Battles, Comedian of the Year competitions, Open Mic, and Showcases. More recently he was one of the founding members of #Speakeasy #DC. He has taken comedy classes from both Sheila Wenz and Martin Amini. Jay has also done acting, professional wrestling, stunt work, and more. His comedy brings you to his world with wild outrageous and almost Unfathomable ideas that will give you a hesitant but thought provoking laugh. He is a recent grad of “the school of hard knocks” Annie and Jay Z were a big part of his success throughout his school and studies. When Carlos is not on stage you can find him at his day job or practicing his craft through conversation, writing or playing both video games and actual sports like pick up games with his brothers. Winner of The Comedy Lofts Comedian of the year 2019, she was also the Runner up for Magbooys 2019 comedian of the year. Caitlin has opened for Andy Harris, Chris Fairbanks, and Brian Scott McFadden. Recently seen at Treefort Comedy festival in Idaho in her hometown of Boise, she is most praised for her quick wit and ability to show up on time. However, his mom said he should write one. James has performed at many comedy clubs and theaters all over the country. He has performed with many famous comedians who walked out during his set. James runs comedy shows out of Aslin Beer Co. in Alexandria VA. He is also in therapy. Follow Him @carriganandagain Feature: Will Thomas Will Thomas is an up and coming stand up comedian originally from Washington D.C. He is a graduate of John's Hopkins University. In addition, he is a former law enforcement officer/civil servant, so his professional experience aids him in delivering an in your face style of comedy with substance. She hit the ground running 10 years ago at the famous Gotham Comedy Club in New York, NY and has been on the making people laugh ever since. This wife and mother of four from Baltimore never misses a beat with her hilarious interpretation of her family life. Ray occasionally hosts Laffs on The Harbor (produced by Bob Sumner of Bad Boys of Comedy and Def Comedy Jam).
