Join us at Green Lawn Abbey for a celebratory evening of open-mic poetry to honor the Halloween season, sponsored by the Ohio Poetry Association and The Poetry Forum of Columbus, Ohio. Let us sink our teeth into your spooktacular vernacular and hearse-worthy verse. Favor a dead bard? Don the garb and see if others know who you are. Some seating will be provided but you may bring your own chairs to ensure a comfortable repose, pardon me, seat. Free Parking Wine and water available for donation. All proceeds from the donations go to The Abbey. COVID protocols, including masks, will be required. This event is in-person only. It is free and open to the public. Space is limited. Registration closes at 7 p.m. EDT on Saturday, October 29. The Ohio Poetry Association is a nonprofit, volunteer-run, educational organization that exists to promote the art of poetry and support poets and others who appreciate poetry. Since being organized in Columbus in 1929, the OPA has become statewide in scope. We seek to assist poets, both amateur or professional, as they hone their craft.
