Newport News Library is hosting a local author showcase. Come see and talk to local authors. While there you can purchase and have books signed for that unique Christmas gifts for your loved ones, kids teachers, and others on your list. While there, stop by and see one of the recently published local author Deborah Ann Martin. She has published a poem book called Love and Heartache Moments that explores all those feelings of love, loss and self-discovery. She has also published a children's book called Farmer Girl.
