Walking Meditation and Yoga: Drawing as Meditation
Being in nature is magic! Our afternoon will start with a with a brief meditation and a little mindful movement. We will then wander along the Helmer Nature Trail pausing to meditate, sketch and move with yoga. Once we reach the clearing, we will pause for yoga, a longer mediation and some meditative drawing!
No meditation, yoga or drawing experience required . Bring a smile and open heart.***
What to wear: Please bring your yoga mat. You might also want to bring a towel or cushion to sit on for meditation and wear comfortable shoes and clothing that allows for movement.
Where to meet: We will gather in the parking lot of Helmer Nature Center. Please go to the far end of the parking lot by the grey house.
Weather: We will move ahead with our program if there is light rain. Should the rain be heavy, we will reschedule for Sunday at the same time.
