October 29th San Juan Brews presents two Colorado Award-Winning artists hellbent on helping you haunt the dancefloor all night long. Doors at 8pm. Show at 9pm. Fresh off a seemingly never-ending tour across the US, Europe, and several sold out CD release shows launching their new album, Small Towns, Stillhouse Junkies specialize in genre-bending American roots music from the hills of Southwestern Colorado. Stillhouse Junkies are proud to be winners of the 2021 IBMA Momentum Band of the Year award, 2018 and 2019 Telluride Band Contest finalists (3rd & 2nd place) Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival Showcase Artists, and Showcase Artists at both the 2020 & 2021 IBMA World of Bluegrass. Road warrior and Montrose local Cousin Curtiss brings his band of award-winning rootstomp/americana musicians to the stage to play what's commonly described as, "if blues and bluegrass had a baby." Rooted in blues and played at Bluegrass speeds Cousin Curtiss creates an incendiary energy that eminates from an endless smile, powerhouse vocals, Popper-esque harmonica chops, rapid fire guitar, blistering banjo, and bombastic bass.
