Join us on Saturday afternoon in the Clay Studio for another Family Clay day and learn the hand building techniques you’ll need to make this fun Turkey Project. In this workshop, makers (along with one adult) will create a lasting memory for their family in the form of a Clay Turkey. This session will run 2-4pm and will include all the tools and clay you will need to create and paint your own turkey project. Lesson will include making pinch pots, coils, and adding textures and the child’s handprint will be used as the Turkey feathers. The finished project will be painted using underglaze and a clear coat of glaze will be applied after the bisque fire. It will be a wonderful keepsake for years to come and will give you a chance to make and create with your child. All pieces require time to dry, bisque fire & glaze fire which can take up to 2 weeks.
