Celebrate the end of the marathon at Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk's Finish Line Fest, held on October 9, starting at 1 p.m. In partnership with Gideon Akande, the special event is perfect for all runners, including friends and family, and will feature well-known vendors with massage equipment to help ease participants' muscles, delicious food and refreshing beverages, stretch sessions, family-friendly fun, and various raffle prizes including items such as a complimentary stay at the hotel, fitness experiences from Gideon Akande and more. The cost per person is $10 for early birds that purchase a ticket prior to October 2, and $20 the week leading up to the event. Love to run? Join us every Wednesday at 6:30 a.m. from September 14 through October 5 in the hotel lobby as we host Run for the Race, a weekly running club providing locals an opportunity to establish and build a community leading up to the marathon. These complimentary 30-minute fun runs with Gideon offer runners a perfect start to their day along the iconic Chicago Riverwalk. Don't pack your bags just yet! On Monday, October 10, at 9 a.m., join us along with Gideon for our final activation, Riverwalk Run – a complimentary recovery run to help everyone’s muscles and joints post marathon.
