Seeking Latin Percussionist for original band

Meets

San Francisco CA

Description

Our percussionist had to leave due to health issues, and we sure miss him. While we are not a classic latin rock band, we have always had Mambo, Cumbia, and occasionaly a bit of that Suavecito somewhere in our mix. It sits well along with the more Americana, African, Surf, 60's retro, and Klezmer influences. Which may sound crazy to you if you are only hip to a straight traditional idea, but no matter what we play, we still sound like us. So we are looking for someone who can bring it, even in a setting they never had to bring it in before. We play 98% original material (Viva Tirado, and Boogaloo in Room 802 are our covers). We play in bars and roadhouses all around the greater bay, usually 3 sets of well arranged numbers, half songs, half instrumentals. So who ever we let in the door will have to put in some work to get up to speed. Check us out on youtube where you can see the band live, and check out our studio work as well https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMMTUX0l7FOc1Fq3YKQx-Jg If you are looking for a "band" situation, have chops, transportation, and live to gig send us links to your recent work (preferably live in public). No links, no reply.
