About the class: This course is designed for the beginner looking to gain a basic introduction to woodworking skills and build their confidence in a professional wood shop environment. In this class each student will work side by side with our expert instructor and make a small step stool in just one day! The teaching points revolve around learning the basics of woodworking and confidence building techniques. Our hope is that you will walk away from this class proud of what you’ve made and eager to learn more! What is covered: Project preparation and layoutMilling of rough lumberPlaner and jointer basics Table saw basics and crosscut sled useSmall scale glue up techniquesPlease Note: Purchase two tickets and get 15% off! In the event we do not reach 2 participants we will reach out to reschedule or issue a refund if necessary.If the class is sold out and you have two or more people interested, please contact us directly to coordinate a new date.We also offer private instruction at $125 an hour.
