Please join Hendersonville Rotary for our annual Pancakes for Kids breakfast! Breakfast • Raffle • Silent Auction • Fun The proceeds from this event go right back into our community by supporting Rotary's Dictionary Project and college scholarships for local students. The Hendersonville Morning Rotary Club has given over $250,000 in college scholarships to graduating students over the last ten years. Scholarships are based on academic achievement and financial need. The scholarships will be awarded to a student who will be attending any accredited higher education institution in the United States next year. The scholarships will be awarded to graduating students residing in the Hendersonville area who are currently attending Beech, Hendersonville, Station Camp, Merrol Hyde, Pope John Paul II High Schools, or who are homeschooled. Rotarians across Sumner County come together each year to give every third grader across the county a dictionary. The dictionary is theirs to keep. This annual event brings all Sumner County Rotary Clubs together both contributing financially, physically labeling each dictionary, and sorting boxes of dictionaries for delivery. The dictionary is labeled with the Rotary Four-Way Test inside the cover. And because of the generosity of Rotarians with their time and our philanthropic budgets we have contributed over $35,000 to benefit the students of Sumner County in the last ten years. We will have the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of more than 2000 third graders again this year. Tickets are $10.00 and can be purchased at the door. Raffle Tickets are $20/each or 6 for $100. We will be raffling off a Traeger Pro 780 grill. The retail price of this grill is $1,000.
