Hello ALPFA Los Angeles familia! Yes, it is World Cup Season - the teams for Group A through Group H are final and the talk these next couple of months will be nothing but about the rivalries amongst players and teams in, arguably, the most beautiful sport in the world. The FIFA World Cup in Qatar will be held this November/December 2022, and the ALPFA Los Angeles team decided to once again have the Annual Soccer Tournament, the first soccer tournament since pre-COVID. Historically, the event has had huge success, with over 100+ volunteer players and attendees gave it their all in a 5 v 5 (co-ed) cage match style. So really, there is only one ask: @ Students at Universities (CSUN, CSULB, USC, UCLA, CSULA, CSUDH, etc) - Rally up a team and represent your school and compete for the Championship Trophy @ Professionals at Firms (PwC, RSM, EY, Deloitte, Robert Half & Protiviti) : Rally up a team and represent your Firm and compete for the Championship Trophy The Soccer Venue staff will mix up the face-offs, meaning the match-ups could be School vs School, Firm vs Firm, or School vs Firm. Lunch will be provided.
