About the Poet Trevor Scott Barton is a 4th grade teacher at Berea Elementary School in the Greenville County School District. He is also an indie writer along the out of the way places among the out of the way people in downtown Greenville. He looks and listens for beauty in the plain, genius in the simple, wonder in the ordinary and courage in the human. As an elementary school teacher, he knows a little about a lot but over the past years he’s learned a lot about the largest creatures to have ever lived in the word  Whales. He has become a whale genius in his community.
