Tuesday, Friday & Saturday 1:00-5:00PM. Participants need to attend all 3 sessions, to complete the curriculum. October 25, 28, & 29, 4 hours per session. Life is fraught with difficulties, hurts, and disappointments regardless of nationality, gender, age, social class, or race. Trauma from the past can have devastating effects on the here and now. Participants will explore wounds of trauma or loss and bring those to Christ for healing. We will be using the curriculum, Healing the Wounds of Trauma, from American Bible Society's Trauma Healing Institute Ministry in a participatory learning style. Participants learn biblical and mental health principles and mental health best practices related to trauma care, for self care and the care of others in suffering, loss, and grief. Tuesday, Friday & Saturday, 1:00-5:00PM. Approximately12 hours of curriculum total. Located in Suite 4 of 601 North Mur-Len Rd. Olathe, KS 66062 Registration is limited.
