Over 60% of the material we put in our landfills is organic waste, which could instead be recycled by composting! Therefore, YOU have a significant impact on reducing waste, improving soil health, and combating climate change. Join Asheville GreenWorks' Environmental Educator, Tallis Monteiro, for a composting workshop on October 26th at 5:30pm at Urban Orchard Cider Co. - West. This workshop will be a "101" presentation on backyard composting, methods, and tips. We will be giving away countertop composting pails. Please dress for the weather, as this workshop will be held on the outdoor patio. Register to reserve your spot!
