The Progressive Party is back and the theme is Join the Independence Chamber and Independence EDC for a deadly fun Progressive Party Networking event Thursday, October 27 4:00pm-6:00pm 210 W Truman, Independence, MO The offices of the Chamber and EDC staff (210 W Truman) will be open for members and prospective members to visit as they sample unique food/drink items and activities in the rooms. They will progress through the entire building learning about the room sponsor companies and the products and services they have while enjoying tantalizing libations and culinary delights! Each room will be decorated in a Day of the Dead theme. The Halloween theme was so popular last year we decided on doing it with a twist. Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a celebration of life and death celebrated the day after Halloween, which started in Mexico and has become very popular in the US. With the colorful sugar skull décor (sugar skulls represents a departed loved one) we think we will have some fantastic rooms.
