LECOM Health in partnership with the Erie County Department of Health is pleased to provide COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics to the Erie Community. Vaccines available at this clinic include Pfizer initial series and bivalent booster, Moderna initial series and bivalent booster, and Novavax initial series. Janssen vaccine is no longer available at this clinic site. This registration is for vaccine recipients ages 5-years and older. For those 6-months through 4 years please register under the separate Pediatric Clinic for this day. Anyone 18-years of age and older can get either 1st, 2nd, or bivalent booster doses of the Pfizer vaccine. Anyone 12-years of age and older can get either a 1st, 2nd, or bivalent booster doses of the Moderna vaccine (mRNA COVID-19 vaccines are preferred over other vaccines for primary doses and an mRNA COVID-19 bivalent booster vaccine must be used for booster doses). ***Note: The Pfizer Bivalent Booster is in plentiful supply however the Moderna Bivalent Boosters will have limited availability until early October 2022** Booster shots are approved for those 5 through 11-years of age and older for the original Pfizer vaccine only. The newly released Pfizer bivalent booster is available for ages 12-years and older. The newly released Moderna bivalent booster is approved for those 18-years of age and older. Those 5 years and older can receive a 1st or 2nd dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines. The Novavax vaccine has NOT been approved in the under 12 population.
