Great Family Dog for Country Home

Description

I rescued Siri to save her life from something that was not her fault. I loved her as soon as I met her, she is one of those dogs who have a quality that is 'beyond dog', a way they understand and relate. I wish I could be her forever, but, while she is great with goats and chickens, and cats she's been introduced to, she needs training to be trusted with the rabbit and peacocks. She is very trainable and well worth that time, but due to a distressing family situation, I can't provide that. So I will settle for finding the permanent home for her I wish I could be. Siri is great on leash, great in the house, child friendly, protective (with a bark that sounds bigger than she is) but nice to guests. In short, she is a gem who will greatly enrich the life of some very lucky person. I will cover the cost of her spay if it is not done before she is adopted. My priority is getting her into her permanent home before she is with me long enough to really think she's home and experience that letdown.
