WANTED: MECHANIC WHO KNOWS 6TH GEN CAMAROS

Jobs

Buena Park CA

Description

As title states, I'm looking for a mechanic & someone really knowledgeable with 6th gen Chevy Camaros (2016-2020). I have a 2019 Camaro SS and here's the situation... 2 weeks ago the car completely shut off on me while driving. Everything came back on a few seconds later and I drove off. Before that happened I replaced the battery with a new one, thinking that was the issue because the battery voltage was really low. So after that situation happened I took the car into the dealership thinking maybe it was the alternator. They did all the diagnostic tests they could do and told me the alternator and battery were just fine. So I just picked up the car from the dealership yesterday, but the voltage meter in my car is still reading low most of the time and I'm afraid that problem will happen again while I'm driving somewhere. So I did some research on the Chevy Camaro forums (Camaro6.com) and it seems a lot of guys have had similar electrical issues with their Camaros. One person came up with a fix and it seems to be the ground cables in our cars are either just bad (low quality) or not tightened enough. There's even an active class action lawsuit with General Motors about this as we speak... So I need a mechanic to inspect my ground cables and make sure they're all tight. I also want to add a new ground cable which some guys have done that solved all their issues. There's a whole write-up for it from the Camaro6 forum that I can show you and it looks simple enough for anybody to do. I live in Buena Park right by Knotts Berry Farm. I'm fairly flexible with my schedule and can come to you if you have a shop or garage you work out of, or you can come to my house. Send an email with your experience, quote, and phone number. If I'm interested, then I'll call you. Thanks for reading.
