RANGOON, 9-years-old, is a timid kitty but she is responsive and quick to purr when you decide it's time for a visit. She does enjoy keeping a low profile and at times prefers a cozy spot in the closet where it is a bit more peaceful. She has a demure personality and is a most loving kitty. This gentle girl has a marvelous way of showing her appreciation for pets; she'll lick your hand, give you a soft love-nibble, and then rub her cheek against your hand. She can be cautious but offering her treats is great way to make friends with her. Update: Rangoon is out and about and is happily exploring and lounging around the shelter. She’s very friendly and is enjoying the company of the volunteers.
