Singer - rock, improv, and originals – just jam for now

54 yr old male. Baritone with 2 ½-3 octave range. Moved to NW Salem last year with my family (steady 9-5 weekday job, wife and 3 kids). Jammed with friends where I used to live and wanting to get back into it. Looking for like-minded and similar age drummer, bass player, 1 or 2 guitarists, or guitarist and 2nd guitarist who can play keys or other instruments. Wanting to sing with players who are confident in their craft and willing to support each other. We start with covers we each bring to the table. After some time, we try both improv and some original songs while we continue working more covers. Originals don’t have to be a complete song. It could even be an idea one of us has and we flesh it out. We to play the music to enjoy it and have fun. No pressure to be gig ready. We can talk about that later. My influences in no order: Beatles, Stones, Bowie, Zeppelin, Doors, Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Cactus, Neil Young, Bad Co, Steely Dan, Rush, Petty, U2, The Cult, Melvins, Supersuckers, Soundgarden, Faith No More, STP, The Mars Volta. These bands I list influence me on a lot of levels, not just the singing. I’m influenced by other styles of music too. I have the mic/chord/stand. I don’t have a PA or a rehearsal space to offer. I am willing to put my equal part of the $ into a rehearsal space for this to happen but can’t float cash for others. Clean and sober rehearsals. Text if you’re on board and tell me what you play.
