Newton, MA area - looking for chill drummer for evolving cover band that’s in the process of transitioning from a form school of rock act to a legit rock band that’s ready to start gigging in earnest. Mid 40’s male guitarist and bass player and female vocalist, all fully committed to taking the next step to get this project into some occasional local bars and clubs. Musical interests range from classic rock, hard rock, blues, a little county and a dash of funk! But your song choices are most welcome too. Looking to rehearse twice monthly to start. Hoping to start gigging this winter. We aren’t seasoned pros but after five years working with a coach, we think we’re ready to get a little more serious…but not so serious we can’t have fun! We’ve already had a few, one set, gigs with other bands on the bill, and we’ve also hit a number of open mics, so we’ve had a taste of playing live and we want more!
