Further, fusion software will be developed to combine existing face recognition approaches and WB identification for robust person verification, recognition, and identification at distance and under varying viewing and atmospheric turbulence conditions. Research outcomes from the BRIAR program are intended to support missions such as counter-terrorism, protection of critical infrastructure and transportation facilities, military force protection, and border security.
